John Craig’s Bio
John Craig is an author, professional keynote speaker, executive business coach and
consultant, and a widely-recognized aviation expert and executive engineering leader with more
than thirty-five years of aerospace experience. John has held a series of key positions during this time, including Chief Engineer at Boeing. John is a licensed Professional Engineer for the State of Washington, prior Federal Aviation Administration Designated Engineering Representative, and former member of the RTCA Policy Board and Program Management Committee. In creating an organization within Boeing to address Cyber Security concerns, he was key in establishing the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center, a world-wide non-profit organization dedicated to sharing aviation cyber security threat information. In this role, he was the Chairman until his retirement from Boeing.
John’s youth in Montana taught him to think outside the box and solve problems with limited resources. In following in his father and grandfathers’ footsteps, he became a pilot and aircraft owner. His passion for flying, led him to pursue a career at Boeing upon graduation from college, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University.
John splits his time between the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, and Montana with his wife Bonnie.
